MEET OUR FOUNDER, NAOMI

For the Love of Marketing

I’ll keep it candid. I love the world of branding and marketing. The skills I have acquired in this field can apply across industries, professions, and daily life. Life is filled with moments requiring the very problem-solving and strategizing skills we use in business.

I dreamed of owning and operating a music publishing and distributing company during my undergraduate career. My major at the University of Hartford’s, The Hartt School, was in Music Management. I was rushing to finish and eager to start my career.

During my last semester of undergrad, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which redirected much of what I had planned. The recovery was undeniably one of the most challenging times of my life. I struggled to find work but was constantly sought after for marketing and business advice across industries. With the push from my mother, I started consulting small businesses through social media marketing initiatives and grew a deep love for the process of branding. With a natural knack for aesthetics, I obtained a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from The Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University.

With the program being data science focused, I learned all about the big world of data analysis and its immense value. The more I learned about data, the more I could tailor creative strategies for my clients. Science enhanced my creativity. It also gave me extra confidence with my most significant career accomplishment yet, opening Alchemy Blue, the agency.

Over the last 10 years, I have helped many women-led and/or minority-owned businesses transform from an idea to a brand. It is my pride and joy. I enjoy identifying problems, finding solutions, crafting strategies, and seeing progress toward a given goal. I believe in teamwork and always approach working with clients as a team effort. My job is to dig into your vision and create the plan that gets you to the goal.
